Welcome to the

Old Prince Waleans
Association

Imagine a spark of nostalgia igniting across continents! In 1987, a band of brothers - alumni of the legendary Prince of Wales School in Sierra Leone - found themselves scattered across the vast landscape of the United States. But distance couldn't dim their shared memories, nor their deep-seated desire to give back. They weren't just former students; they were Princewaleans, bound by an unbreakable bond. And so, the Old Prince Waleans Association was born.

Our Mission

The mission of the Old Prince Waleans Association (OPWA) is to unite alumni of the Prince of Wales School (Sierra Leone) residing across the United States in a common purpose:
  • to provide critical financial and material support to our beloved alma mater. Driven by a shared legacy and an "unbreakable bond" as Princewaleans, OPWA is dedicated to improving the quality of teaching and learning at the Prince of Wales School.
  • The association aims to invest in the future of the school and its students, nurturing the next generation of leaders and ensuring the continued shining legacy of our cherished institution. Through collective action, including donations and projects, OPWA strives to bridge the resource gap and make a real, tangible difference in the lives of the students and the school community.
